My Story

My name is Greta Rauch and I am a recent graduate of St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago. I am the oldest of seven from a strong Catholic family. My two passions are languages and engineering. I first participated in the State Department's NSLI-Y program in the summer of 2015 when I traveled to Zhu Hai, China. This year, I will be participating in a second NSLI-Y program. I will be traveling to Kaohsiung, Taiwan where I will study Chinese at The Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages. While abroad, I hope to continue my involvement with FIRST robotics, a competitive robotics organization I have participated in for seven years. When I return home, I will attend the University of Notre Dame where I hope to double major in Computer Science and Chinese. This blog tells the story of my adventures!
