In Which I Join Two Clubs
On Monday, I went to class. In the afternoon, I went to the first meeting of Holy Bird, the Catholic Club at Wenzao. I really enjoyed meeting everyone there and am exciting to become a part of this group.
On Tuesday, I went to my Chinese class in the morning. In the afternoon, I had Study of Chinese Characters class. I was able to answer a question in class about stroke order! After class, Katie and I went to a food stand near the back gate of school to try their small cakes. The outside is a waffle-like bread and the inside can be filled with different fillings. We tried an ice cream one and a chocolate one. They were absolutely delicious!

On Wednesday, I went to class as usual. In the afternoon, I spent a lot of time working on my speech. I finalized the speech. I now just need to memorize it by this coming Friday which is easier said than done!
On Thursday, I went to classes as usual. For lunch, Katie, Tyler, Kate and I went to a new restaurant and ordered 小籠包. They were so great!

In drama class, my group needed to create a skit and perform it in front of the class. Scotty and I suggested the idea my group ending up choosing. In addition, my teacher liked our skit so much that she had another group try to recreate it with a different twist. I also answered a question at the end of class. All in all, it was a successful drama class!
After class, I attended the first meeting for Serviam. Serviam is a service club at Wenzao that I joined. This club is going to be a pretty big time commitment but I am very excited to get to know the people in it and have the opportunity to give back to the community.
